Carnauba Wax, Kahlwax 2442 is obtained from young leaves of the Brazilian palm tree Copernicia Cerifera.

The wax color depends on the age of the used leaves. Utilizing young leaves results in a light yellow colored wax which is used for this wax and its related qualities.

This wax is very hard, creates high gloss, and has a good oil binding capacity. It is ideal for use in the cosmetics industry in decorative cosmetic/make-up and hair styling applications.
