To make lip gloss, no special equipment is needed.
When making a lip gloss with wax, heat the oils and waxes together, add the rest of the ingredients and pour into lip gloss tubes while warm and liquid. As the mixture cools down, it also thickens up. If you find pouring the mixture into the lip gloss tube tricky, you can use a disposable plastic syringe to make this task easier.
When using oil-gelling ingredients, a specific process usually needs to be followed to ensure the oils are gelled effectively. Refer to supplier instructions.
The amount of pigment added to lip gloss can be varied according to the desired color strength.
