Our Sea Buckthorn Extract contains the juice concentrate of sea buckthorn fruits (Hippophae Rhamnoides L.) dissolved in water and glycerin. Sea buckthorn is mainly collected in Eastern Europe.

The ripe berries are squeezed to obtain fruit juice and then filtered and concentrated by distillation at low temperatures.

Manufacture

After harvesting of the berries, the ripe fruits are cleaned and squeezed and filtrated. The juice is concentrated by distillation at low temperatures. 1kg of sea buckthorn extract contains the concentrate juice of approx. 0.470kg fresh sea buckthorn berries. The fruit-extract ratio is 0.470 : 1.
