Our Marshmallow Root Extract is a high-purity extract from European marsh mallow roots (Althea Officinalis L.). The plant is well-known for its soothing, anti-irritant, and emollient properties.
Dissolved in water and glycerin the extract concentration is 2-3%.

Manufacture
Marshmallow Root Extract is manufactured using a cold process to avoid potential loss of effectiveness that heat processing can have. Organically grown, pesticide-free materials are extracted with a specified eluant to yield a concentrate.
The concentrate is dissolved in glycerin and water at a concentration of 5 % concentrate and 95% diluents.
